Our journal invites scholars to submit proposals either for special issues or for individual articles. All proposals are to be addressed to the editorial committee, at the following email address:
editors@occupieditaly.org
Proposal should include a short abstract of no more than 350 words and a CV with reference to previous publications if any.
If your proposal will be accepted, you will be required to submit an article of maximum 8.000 words following our guidelines.
All articles will be subjected to double blind peer review, according to the following guidelines:
The two anonymous referees are chosen on the basis of their specific expertise in the research field. The articles are evaluated according to different criteria, indicated in a “evaluation sheet” form. In the event that the two referees express opposing assessments, the editorial team will take care to consult a third anonymous referee. The managing committee and the editorial committee of “Occupied Italy” are responsible for the decision to publish or not the proposed articles, based on the opinions of the referees.
By submitting their contribution, the authors implicitly accept the double blind peer review process. The editorial committee undertakes to give an opinion on both acceptance and rejection of the article, within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt of the same.
If you wish to be part of our team as a Guest Editor, please send us a short bio and a CV.
If Authors who are not native Italian or English speakers need to have their texts translated and/or edited, the journal can provide a list of professional editors and translators.
